Are You Looking For Help With Insomnia?

Lots of people have the odd bad night’s sleep. After a few nights they get back in to their normal sleep pattern and start getting a good night’s sleep again.

Insomnia is something different. Insomnia is where you have trouble in getting to sleep night after night. You are counted as having chronic insomnia when it’s been going on for a long time. Some people get to sleep and then when they get up in the night they have trouble getting back to sleep.

Some sleep issues are purely physical and I can’t be of any help with them, stopping breathing while (sleep apnea) is your sleep problem then you should get checked out by your GP as soon as you can.

Similarly people with problems of sleep walking or other night time unconscious animated issues should also see a doctor. These types of sleep issues are very serious and the sooner that they are treated the better.Snoring is a physical issue that can often be addressed by losing weight but there are also other physical aids available to help it.

You will find that people who do sleep well have no way of understanding insomnia. They can’t understand what it’s like just lying there waiting for sleep to happen, and lying there a bit longer and sleep is still not happening. Feeling absolutely wiped out before you get to bed and then just lying there isn’t fun. Similarly waking up in the middle of the night to answer a call of nature and then getting back in bed to enjoy those last few hours sleep, and then your mind sets off and you don’t sleep, you have a solution to all things in life but sleeping isn’t one of them.

Sleeping pills are not a good solution, they are just another problem and that’s assuming that they work and there are lots of  people who find that sleeping pills don’t work for them.

When you do more research about sleep  (and I’m sure that you have already done a lot) you will find a chicken and egg relationship between sleep and stress. Poor sleep causes stress in your life and stress in your life disrupts your sleep patterns and causes insomnia.

Can Hypnosis Cure Insomnia?

I’m not sure if it’s right to say it’s possible to cure insomnia but using hypnosis for insomnia can help you to create a new night time habit of sleeping rather than being awake.

I have personal experience of suffering from and overcoming insomnia. I used hypnosis on myself to help overcome insomnia and it’s doing pretty well most of the time. I get bad nights but on the whole I sleep well now and I’d like to help you to do the same.
